Majority of these students are afraid to miss the opportunity to defend their projects during the 2022 November session after failing the first semester’s exam.
Results for the first semester exam which took place on mid-February were finally unleashed last Monday 21, 2022 mixed students of the Advanced School of Mass Communication between satisfaction and deception, especially level 3 students.
The resit session started last Thursday, April 7 and will run till April 12 .It is a decisive moment for all year three students who did not perform well in the regular exam session.
Some students are therefore desperate and ready to do whatever it takes to succeed. “I am really scared and I do not want to say that I can repeat year 3, I tell myself that it is okay and that I need more concentration’’ says Kofane Andrea, Corporate Communication student.
Fadimatou Amadou, from Journalism is more or less positive, “we have to make a maximum effort to pass all the subjects and start the second semester with peace of mind .It is true that it is not easy with the stress and pressure but we hope that everything will go well and that the correctors will be less indulgent” she says.
Not all students went for the resit. Ticky Michele, year 3 journalism students escaped this panic in which her classmates are found, “it is a relief for me to have validated everything although my grades are not what I expected but nevertheless, it is better to pass than not to. I will just make sure to better prepare myself for the second semester exams.”
As such, everything and methods is left in hands of these candidates to succeed their exams, to see themselves defending on November with the dream of being professionals of communication depending on their fields.
