Other set of movies make way to the American content platform and production company, Netflix.
The narrow gate to the film company is widening more and more for Cameroonian movies. The stories, A Man for the Weekend, Broken, A Way Back Home and Deranged have been acquired by Netflix and will be aired in the upcoming month of June.
These movies are distributed by Omega 1 Entertainment. A Man for the Weekend will be aired on June 16, Broken will be aired on June 22, while A Way Back Home will be aired on June 28, while Deranged will be aired on June 30, 2021.
This is thanks to the efforts of the Chief Executive Officer of Omega 1 Entertainment, Brenda Elung, who has secured multiple movie deals with the world streaming giant for African movies.
It is worth remembering that the first Cameroonian films acquired by Netflix were Therapy, produced by Ermeline Simo and Sakah Antoine and The Fisherman’s Diary produced by Kang Quintus. While waiting for the new set of stories, one can chill with those currently on board the Netflix ship. Happy viewing!
