Caught when he was about doing another sit-in at the entrance of the Ministry of Communication (MINCOM), the author of broadcast dressing sounds has been charged to court.
According to Le Jour Newspaper, the case opposing him to Charles Ndongo which opened on Monday January 8, 2018 at the Court of First Instance in Yaoundé has been adjourned to February 28.
It is worth highlighting that for two years, Isidore Modjo has been demanding the State media the total payment of his copyrights. Since 1997, CRTV has been broadcasting his works. To get his due, on January 27, 2017 he started sit-ins in front of La Maison de la Radio.
Prime Minister and Head of Government Philémon Yang decided to end the mess.
Reacting to the disgraceful act, on March 27, 2017 he instructed the Minister of Communication and the President of CRTV executive board to give an amount of 50 Billion FCFA to the 57 year old man.
It turns out that Isidore Modjo received less than half of the amount ordered.
Isidore Modjo accuses Charles Ndongo and Issa Tchiroma Bakary of not following to the latter, the instruction of the Prime Minister.
It is now left for the tribunal to decide who is at fault; Isidore Modjo or Charles Ndongo/Issa Tchiroma Bakary?
