Among those who have ambitions to take the Cameroon music industry to the next level is DIZI, an artist who has had several experiences in music as a minor activity, but decides to take a bold step through the video release of his first official single “you know that”.

Ngu Fomede Dylan as his real names are, is from the Northwest Region, particularly in Santa, Bafuchou/Awing.

Before getting into music officially, DIZI was doing acting and even has a brand of his own, UKT (U Know That) and is also the President of Royal Rhythm Entertainment, one of the most popular Entertainment houses in Cameroon, as the artist puts it.

He revealed that he has featured in several movies (8 of them) with popular actors like Mr Otie, Muma Pascal, Mr Melow, Mapala Zita, Princess Dora, Soliel Ebe, and Prince Ojay amongst others.

Although the artist had gotten involved in music a long time ago, he said it was just in the background “this is my first official song. The audio has been out there for some months now and making waves” Dizi said.

When asked what style of music he does, he disclosed that he prefers Afro pop, because he is an African and that he grew up closely following artists like Lil Wayne who was his favourite.

In Cameroon, he said the main artist he would like to work with is Stanley Enow, equally adding Locko, Daphne and Blanche Bailey.

Concerning what the title of his new song “you know that” means, he said it serves as an inspiration to the young growing artists “I am blessed you know that, I am confident you know that, I am ambitious you know that, I am loved you know that, I am able you know that, I am capable you know that” Ngu Dylian clarified.
