The Minister of Higher Education in an interview granted to the press reveals that the first consignment of 80, 000 laptops will be made available as from November 2017 across selected Universities across the national territory.

The information comes as a relieve to many University Students impatiently waiting for their promised laptops to be made available as promised by the government last year.

The doubt surrounding the presidential gift featured when in his address to the Youths last February 2017, President Paul Biya made no mention in his speech of the said laptops.

The Minister of Higher Education in an interview granted to the press reveals that the first consignment of 80, 000 laptops will be made available as from November 2017 across selected Universities across the national territory.

Jacque Fame Ndongo made the statement at the end of the September meeting of ministers which held at the Prime Minister’s Office this Sept 19, 2017 here in Yaoundé.

Cameroon News Today-CNT grabbed that the second part of the consignment of laptops will be made available just later.

It’s worth nothing that students to benefit from the presidential gift must  have been duly registered for the 2016/2017 academic year and are called upon to show proof of their registration on the electoral list.
